Who says the walleye population is down on Lake Mille Lacs anyways? The following pictures are only about one fourth of the fish of this caliber (size-wise) we caught in six trips. We got skunked on our final trip, and our first trip we caught a lot of walleye that we could keep that were under the slot. Unfortunately, my buddies forgot the camera at our campsite on the day before, when my brother (in the picture) outfished all of us by catching several of this size walleye. If he would only listen to me about keeping his fingers out of the gills before releasing them. We all caught nice fish this trip. He just caught more. I just kept the boat in the correct locations.My brothers and I sliding with our children.
