Your parents were right. Speed is addictive.

Recent snapshot.view from the kayak of the Susquehanna river, somewhere between Tunkhannock and Harding.......... Just after a storm. Serenity now!Your parents were right. Speed is addictive.Heliarc welding a honda supercharger aluminum racing intake manifold for a friend....something I love to do, and was paid to do it! As good as it gets, being paid to do something you love to do.

No, not a postcard image, though it could be. Lake Jean, Rickets Glen State Park, as viewed from our campsite, labor day, 2007. The edge of the lake was about 20 feet from the camper.A closer pic of my daughter and I..... Fall of 2007, when I had a beard.......And she had long hair."Can we keep him?"The falls trail, Ricketts Glen State Park, spring of 2006

A sunrise in my back yard................Susquehanna river, Wilkes Barre. Photo shot from kayak, sorry for the low resolution............one of my past hobbies, autocross racing a Volkswagen powered formula car, still have the car, but not currently racing due to the cost and time required to field a race car - I'm more focused on being a dad at the moment. Hope to get back to this hobby when my daughter is older.Memorial day weekend, 2008. "boondocking" out in the woods in the 1972 VW Bus- no power, no water, no bathrooms. And a pack of coyotes to keep us entertained late at night. Note the purple color of the fire - that was a VERY hot one!!! Cooked hot dogs and marsmallows easily over a foot away from the fire.

I'm really not into chasing trains for photos. But I saw this on my way home from work one day and had to get a pic. Early morning, and foggy. The trains were idling just off a crossing, I'm not so nuts that I stood between moving ones!My "home away from home"...... a very rough and battered 1972 Vw westfalia (westy) camper. It's no big rv, but it can go far into isolated areas. Bonus: It's never yet caved in in a rainstorm like a tent does now and then!
