| Look away before you see what is real
A wound so deep that time cannot heal
You will never understand the pain I feel
Or the love I suffer for you still!
Thus I long to hear one more time
Sounds of your laughter outside my mind
You once swore that our love would be just fine
Now I look around to see I have been left behind!
I looked away to not see what was real
Knowing all along the love you did not feel
Foolish was I to think your wound my love could heal
Though I wait and hope you will love me still!

| The wound is deep
Behind the wall
Only gentleness
Can heal it.

| Were I to sail the Seven Seas,
Still my heart would remain
with you, now
And forever!
Time and gravity mark me,
Others reach out for me,
Where is the beating heart
but with you, my love?
