| Get a copy of Webroot Spy Sweeper. If you have any problems, you just have to quarantine the SPY or SPIES. Once they are quarantined, they can't cause your computer problems.
Use it about once per week.
Also, you might check your virus scan and see if it has a spy sweeper with it.

| According to steve gibson, spyware these days are more complicated than before. It is hard to know if you actually got rid of it for sure. Your best bet is to format and install windows again to make sure. If you want to avoid getting spyware use linux, I suggest puppy linux that runs off your ram. All you need is a rewritable cd or dvd and a burner.

| No it's a linux disto, it has nothing to do with windows. Linux is pretty safe from spwyare far as I know. With puppylinux once you reboot anything you did is gone unless you save the files on disc. If you have a cd burner give it a try it's amazingly fast.

I had the same problem BECAUSE I clicked on the "rememdy."
That ad tells you that you have spyware and suggests that you use "fix"
If you do, it messes up your computer.
DON'T EVER CLICK ON ANYTHING THAT SAYS THAT!
