Going thru some music on Playlist tonite to add to my list and had forgotten Warren Zevon. Most people remember "werewolves of London"...but he wrote and performed some really good music. It was kinda dark and humorous and a little strange, but I think it is close to genius.Warren died on Sept 7 2003 from the same type of lung cancer that killed Steve McQueen.Warren knew he was dying yet he went on David Letterman a few times and talked about his death and even wrote an album about it.He also had a few problems with drinking and drugs and OCD.Alot of his songs are about some of his troubles.Warren also has played and jammed with every folk rock blues singer and writer of his time. From Dylan and Springsteen to Ronstadt and the Eagles to Fleetwood Mac.If you dont know Warren Zevon, check out some of his music,I'm sure most will like it.
