| join a group, a book club, a walking group... take a cooking class- awesome fun- get involved in volunteer activities...
it's about meeting people, not just single men... lots of women know single men... so be friendly to them too... you just never know when and where... go out and live your life and it will happen.
Least, that's what I'm told.

| Actually to be very honest with you I dont go anywhere to meet men....Sorry Its not me...I joined here hoping to meet someone after getting to know them...But in all my life i havent ever just gone somewhere to meet men.. I think you might be better off joining groups of folks with similar interests eg dancing ten pin bowling theatre travelling bike riding hiking bands concerts etc to name a few... i hope this helps a little and I do wish you luck...

| Do adults actually go to bars to meet people anymore?
Church, temple, volunteer at your local animal shelter, soup kitchen, go to a museum or gallery, go to the park and fly a kite or walk your dog. Go to Home Depot or Barnes and Noble, take a class, Starbucks, pay for a few dance lessons. drop a plate of cookie to your local fire dept. or police dept. and say, "thanks you appreciate their hard work".
Make a point to let people know you'd like to find a nice guy. Women love to play matchmaker but men typically don't want to get involved. Ask your hairdresser for an updated look and some highlights, ask you optometrist when you go in for contacts or a new pair of funky, chic glasses, and ask if they know an eligible guy, Ask you grocer, postman or postwoman when they deliver mail on Saturday, ask you doctor, your vet, the manager of the supermarket. Don't whine and complain when you ask. Smile and act confident and positive.

| maybe the gym? the park on weekends, see the single dads there with their kids. I like most guys hate crowded supermarkets so I try to go late at night (usually weekends) and yes I like to check out the single women there. I would not suggest taking cookies to the FD or PD. and asking everybody, you will be known as the "crazy lady". good luck

| Actually after 9/11 many people bought homemade meals to show their appreciation for the hard work these men and women do. I suppose if you acted like a kook they'd think you were crazy but if you were gracious with a smile on your face I'd bet they would be appreciative. JMO.
