I have NO idea what the elca is, but what in the world does abortion have to do with jesus?
You are assuming I take it, that abortion is a sin? That is a personal opinion. I personally don't think abortion is wrong at all. I didn't have one myself, but I do not believe it is a sin.
I think the people that try to brow beat the women into thinking it is, are sinful, but the abortion itself is not a sin neccesarily.

Is 50 million killed unborn deaths enough to qualify as a holocaust. I would think so. Look around. Where are all of the children, not a lot of ‘white’ babies around…I don’t think this is the only reasons there are problem within this Land, for WE HAVE TURNED INWARD AND MADE OURSELVE LITTLE gods WITH OUR SELF, ME FIRST, YOU FIRST AFTER ME attitude, and we have our god or gods and have even replaced God with a new god called ‘…GOD…’ and we (stupid people that we are) being so proud (man’s intellectualism) put it on what we worship –that which most call money in ‘in GOD we trust’ (emphasis added) We the People… mock Creator – God. As I stated in my post taking ones life...from beings one life....It is against God,it Against the commandments,its Against The Message for Life...Love,and this is not Love as this is From Satans tricks of Begiling one...and I know this as The Holy Spirit told Me this Many Years after I too commited This Sin...I was a fool,I did not know what I was doing,It Is My Sin Of All Sins,I took a life,I am and always will never forget this,as I can not even fathom how I let This happen(was by Faulty Protection)but what ever the reason,I commited Sin against God...
I hate this,rebuke(sATAN) every time I think about This Act( I commited by Satans treachorey) But It Happened..And That I need Gods Forgivness,And I believe in My heart He Knows My Heart,and Forgave me For This Cause, I know Now this Sin,as I have Learned Much By The Holy Sprit Relaying these Things To Me.... p.s.
