So I thought I would start a thread of all the people who were told something they couldn't do and ended up better than us. Amy Tan was told by her partner that she couldn't write. *She ended up having a famous book published "The Joy Luck Club" The Wright brothers were informed by physicists that airplanes would never fly * Three months later they flew their first plane Steven Spielberg could not read, write or SPELL and dropped out of highschool his sophomore year. Although he went back later he never became a scholare. ***We all know many of his famous movies now Come on folks, tell me some more uplifting tidbits of people who overcame in spite of what others were telling them they couldn't do well.
