I am pretty new to this site and I had a few men contact me, but after a few emails it's like they disappear. If someone has the time, I would appreciate you taking a look at my profile and offer some advice. Maybe I seem boring. lol! Thanks for taking the time to look. Good luck to everyone.

THIS IS MY RE-WRITE OF YOUR PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION. Just giving you some advice, like you asked. No offense *JMO


I have an upbeat personality I enjoy keeping busy. I would like to find someone to share activities and who still likes to hold hands in public. I am very romantic but, yet still independent soul. It would be great to find someone to share the good and bad times, and still laugh at each others jokes. I can take care of myself, however it is nice to have someone in your life to bounce ideas off of. I miss having that special someone that can make me laugh, until I am rolling on the floor in stitches. It doesn't matter if it is a corny joke or just something silly.


You should also add something about what you like to do for activities, hobbies and free time. Some more photos are a good idea too. PPl especially like the profile pic to be something closer than the one you have posted (although it is a good photo and would make a great second addition) Get a photo showing your face closer. Once again, just advice in my humble opinion.

I think your profile is fine and as for emails; I see the same thing as you do.

Most often, after one or two emails, either or they figure out that we do not have enough in common to continue writing, so don't take it as a negative on you or your profile, just consider that you ( I ) are not going to connect with everyone.

In most cases, of people that I quit writing to, it is because they use such poor grammar that I can not understand what they are trying to say. If we can communicate in print, how long could an in-person conversation last ? I find it curious that people with such poor writing skills even write to me, particularly considering that I'm not that attractive or handsome. If they've taken the time to read my profile, why did they write to me in the first place ?

So, in closing, please don't give up just because you've not yet found that special one, that is right for you. If it's meant to be and God-willing, he will send the one he has selected for you, into your path.

Keep the faith, join in the forums and just have a good, nice time with DH.

I just enjoy the opportunity to meet and chat with people from all over the US. I do not intend to or expect to meet and date from this site--I work a lot and I never did get into a relationship. It wouldn't be fair to start a relationship and then have the woman find out I do not have the time most normal men have to date and have fun. So I never give out false hopes. Never played that game. There is the forum section and then the New jersey Chat section--try these out and just relax and enjoy the fun. I am sure you have valuable input for some of the really interesting questions... relax and smile and keep in touch with all of us. YES--I have ben told this is a date site--I know that---but not everyone seems to be dating at all. I think alot of people enjoy the casual fun contact.

c'mon men..I wanna know too.I have the same ?..someone emails you,you email them back, then like a high school game,they wait a day or so to reply. Even when they have read the message earlier.Someone please fill me in here.Thee men are like over 40 years old and are playing games????

Men get the same sort of treatment that your talking about. I always respond to Emails in a timely mannor but they seem to dry up after a while. I won't even get into the number of times I've sent out E mails to local women without recieving a reply.

Some of these men think thier playboys and write to a bunch of women and i really dont think they want to hear what we have to say. They talk for awhile,then a younger pretty little thing comes on and they run like puppies after them. Its a game to most of them but not all.
