| Have to say, that I was a bit moved by some of these clippings. Definitely changed my mind on whether I want to even watch the Fox station anymore. Professors always told us Political Science students that the Fox news station is nothing but a complete joke and waste of time . I, now, see that it is true.

FOX's longtime pattern of smearing Obama and the black community is well documented.1 But the outrageous moments have increased in the last month.
First, a paid FOX commentator accidentally confused "Obama" with "Osama" and then joked on the air about killing Obama.2 Next, a FOX anchor said a playful fist bump by Barack and Michelle Obama could be a "terrorist fist jab."3 And then, FOX called Michelle Obama "Obama's baby mama"—slang for an unmarried mother of a man's child, and a clear attempt to associate the Obamas with negative stereotypes about black people.4
If you know others who'd find FOX's recent actions despicable, please ask them to sign the petition too. The more people who sign, the bigger our impact will be.
Our friends at ColorOfChange.org—an online advocacy group focused on the issues of importance to the black community—are leading this charge. They have already collected nearly 100,000 names to deliver as a group to FOX's headquarters (in front of other media cameras, so FOX feels more heat). Here's how they describe the situation:
After each of the incidents mentioned [above], FOX issued some form of weak apology. But what does it mean when you slap someone in the face, apologize the next day, then slap them again? It means the apology is meaningless.

Yea, very much so. I have to agree with you annie,I use to love watching them as well. I mean, I grew up watching their station more than anything. And Chicago,(which is where I am located), is the main headquarters where the station is located. Right off of State st.
I have to admit, that I am not only shocked, but kind of saddened that they would, 'openly',express their thoughts on a candidate running in such a fashion such as this. It is not only very sly, but very unprofessional. Did you take a look at any of the clips on the blog on youtube?

True...PARTIALLY. You cannot sit up there and say that any of the news stations, had EVER addressed an upstanding candidates',(regardless of race),wife as being a "baby's momma", or state that a fist jab,(which has been around for years---heck, Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass did it during their time as well--do the research),as being of terrorist connection.
Let's just face the facts! It is evident why the station is doing that. You might want to take a look at the clips noredneckhere and see for yourself. Then think of a time where they have done that to Bill Clinton, FDR, Kennedy, LBJ(difference. Even though he received bad treatment for being more supportive in bringing most minority Americans out of poverty), etc.

Let me clarify something with you, jrbogie. First,Fox has never changed my views on anyone, PERIOD. The purpose of the blog was to make clear of what I received alongside MY thoughts on the topic at hand. Correspondingly, I wanted to get feedback from others after they had read the forum and viewed the ACTUAL clippings towards the bottom. This is just a few clips on what has been allowed, continuously to happen on the Fox news station.
Secondly,who are you to even make a judgement on the website? That is completly your opinion, but it appears, that they have more PROOF than a little bit. Maybe you should do some research yourself. The information is released, and however you feel about it is your business. So make it your last to even come with the "jeez"-liners,understand?
Thirdly, and who are you to even make that connection with my opinions versus's the News Stations, and the websites,(more than one), FACTS??? THERE IS NO COMPARISON. Facts vs. opinions,,, yea let me make a remark on that statement you made... JEEZ!
Maybe you need to re-read my post a bit SLOWER to get the jist of my forum. Simply, stated that with regards to the NEWS STATION, that my views toward IT HAS CHANGED. Meaning the station...Period!

LOL, khorus!! That was soo sweet of you  Secondly, trust me,whenever it comes to gather vital information on a certain topic at hand, I do not stick to listening to one source. I am a Political Science student. We are intially taught those things,lol. Hence, is why I can be a bit analytical about everything...I am constantly told. Lol, you should take a look at my previous forum post before this one. It was where I wrote an extensive response to an extensive statement a good friend of mine made.
