I read today in our local paper that Bon Jovi band is playing in Central park on July 12 and its free!! The paper said you get your free ticket at the ballgames as they are tearing one down and trying to raise $ to build a new one. Forget the name of the ball field as I only know chicago fields-sorry. New York people I am sure you can fill in the blanks. I bet this would be awsome to attend if you live up there!

Hey Pink _
Yes, this is BIG news. How cool is it to be able to see them, for free, in Central Park? I got my tickets last night and, surprisingly, was able to get 10 of them. Here's a bit more information:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The New Jersey rockers will perform in the city park on July 12 to celebrate the July 15 Major League Baseball All-Star game, and will commemorate the final season at Yankee Stadium, which is set to be demolished.

Singer Jon Bon Jovi confirmed the show this afternoon (June 30) alongside New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who said the event will happen on the Great Lawn, the capacity of which is 60,000.

Tickets for the event will be made available from July 2 at Yankee and Shea Stadiums as well as the homes of the Brooklyn Cyclones and Staten Island Yankees, and will also be given away in radio contests and in store promotions.

Some tickets will also be available at MLB.com.
