| I have never had a nickname...the closest I came was a new girlfriend in 9th grade who dropped the last three letters of my name...she did it once, I asked her very nicely not to do it again...she did it again..and I did not reply, or acknowledge her until she called me properly....it was a short friendship

| No, I wish I had had a nickname growing up since I'm not terribly fond of my real name.
Since being on this site, however, I seem to have been given a couple , mostly because my middle name is so hard to pronounce. So, a very nifty former DHU member called me "TC from DC" and that's o.k. I've also been called "Tara."

| Grew up in a household where everyone had nicknames. Mine was "Mudd" for when I was little, you could always find me playing in mud puddles making "mud pies" and decorating them with rocks! My Dad still calls me this BUT he's the only one I allow to do that!

| We used to sing rock 'n roll on the weekends - usually, just in our own garages and apartments - but, the other guys called me "Mungo" - for Mungo Jerry - who sang "In the Summertime" and some others - and always seemed to change his voice for different songs - which I also did. (I also had the nickname of Red Lemon Easy in college - amongst my two closest friends - Walter Weedy and Honest John Bong... but, that's another story...)
