| I was talking with my girlfriend earlier and she had just gotten home from a Lynard Skynard concert . And it made wonder what everyones most memorable concert was ?
Its a toss up for me . I saw the Moody Blues (a six hour show , just them) . And saw Tom Petty with Pearl Jam . Tom came out and played with Pearl Jam and then Pearl Jam came out and jammed with the Heartbreakers .

| I worked a Skynyrd concert YEARS ago as a stage tecnician. Got to setup for Ronnie Van Zant, Allan Collins, Gary Rossington, and co. I got the paperwork for the band coming to town, and nobody knew how to pronounce the bands name. I'm standing off on the side of the stage, and they play this totally awesome song. I looked at my partner and said "this song just kicks ass". The song was later to be known as "Free Bird". That was before it had ever been released.

| its Lynyrd Skynyrd....as a card carrying fan club member we have to correct any misspellings of the name..lol
I have seen Skynyrd 3 times so far.The best one was like 4 years ago they played the Univ of Del Bob Carpenter Center which is the basketball stadium here.Only holds maybe 9,000 people and it was a Sunday night and I dont think it was sold out. They played with .38 Special that nite and I was hoping that Johnnie and Donnie would of done a few songs together .
I have seen some of the greatest bands ever and some many times....38 Special maybe 8 times..BadCo 4..Foriegnor...4....Clapton 4..U2 2 times.Ted Nugent.2...Yes 3 times...and they were one of the best shows ever..But my most memorable show ever has to be my first big concert..Ted Nugent..1977..he played for almost 3 hours...the man had so much energy I have never seen anyone like him since..my 2nd most memorable show was Stevie Ray Vaughn at Urvine Audatorium at Un of Penn in Philly.Another small college place and I was like 4 rows back...I think he died the year later...another good guitar player I liked was George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers.I grew up listening to him play his guitar in little bars here in Newark and watched him become famous. And kicked his a** many times in pool..in case he may belong to DH and is reading this...
