| thank you...I'm really enjoying what y'all are creating It's nice to find people who know what a haiku is...
I went through what nowadays would be called a Montessori program. The kids in regular classes thought we rode the short bus. We b*tched about having to write in journals, poems, and general free-writing. We also got to go on numerous camping and canoe trips each year and alot of those trust your fella games. It was pretty special looking back.

| Fortunate you.... I went to a brick two storey grade school in the 1950's in Grants Lick, Ky. On the good side,
we were in school from 0830 to 0430 every day (imagine those hours, now!) and so, we did learn some
basics! Keep 'em coming!

| These haikus are simplified, but that's okay. The actual form is more complex, and one of these days I'll study up on it some more. But for now, I like simple.

the ocean is home
wind blowing freely
elements of mind reeling
cyber-space is home
