I have noticed that many of us around the world share in these same sentiments
Some of the difficulties are in the definition of love. With the new dictionary definition love is perceived as sex, which is not truly the definition of love at all
Physical attraction is very important for the onset of any longterm intimate relationship.
What is more important is having similar interests that bind us together.
For example: Why tie together with an individual that is very materialistic if the other is more selfless?
Another is; if the individual is not willing to be open and honest with their feelings.
Many have a problem when in a relationship to continue
 for a better person?

True enough. There is nothing like putting the theory to the test that shoots down a brilliant idea that never really was. sorry you had to find out so quickly but just think of all the heartbreak you have missed when it fell apart.
you will find someone who is not only sounding good but actually is- with no regrets or feelings of sacrifice holding them back from letting them be who you/they want to be.
You will be much happier next time- and forget that fool. He never did deserve you!

What seems to be issue with the eligible men in Mass.?
Single women, in my opinion, are having a hard time finding true love in this state.

perhaps your problem is indicated in the title of your thread here. that being that you say you're "looking for my king". i think even a prince would be overly optomistic. what do you think?
