| I was wondering if any of the woman in there late 30's has noticed an increase in there sex drive. I turned 38 this year. And have noticed that my sex drive has increased drastically. I don't really understand it. But lately I find myself wanting sex a lot more these past 7 months then in the past 18 years. It is really disturbing. Does anyone know how I can decrease my sex drive?

| Ms Indiannapeach, you have nothing to be alarmed about. This is normal. You are entering the peak of your life sexually. Women peak sexually between the ages of 30 to 50. While men peak sexually between the ages of 15 to 30. As far as slowing it down. I'm sorry, I'm a guy, and honestly don't know how that would be accomplished.
I'll also tell you, as a guy, if I did know, I'd be honest enough to tell that "I have the answer", but, also as a guy, sharing that answer, well, that's aginst all that my animal insticts stands for. That would be like "Locking Up The Cookie Jar". Just can't see myself doing that.
Your gonna make some lucky guy very happy.

| I agree...totally normal, but totally sucks if you're not with a guy to, uh, ya know, help. I tried exercising more, thinking I could run off the extra energy but it made it worse. Birth control pills can decrease your drive. Saltpeter works for men, but I'll have to look in my grimoire to see if there's anything a woman can do...
my best suggestion?....go with it and find ways to enjoy your new found drive!

I dont believe I have ever heard why this happens.
I wonder why it is that this happens to many of us woman later on..Could it be due to menopause I mean our last kick of high sexual drive before that kicks in?
