| welcome to the 60's Candy and wow, painting outside here is not an option - wayyyyyyyy too hot. make sure you take plenty of breaks and sure hope you have some help. Going to get to 96 here today so will stay inside as much as I can. Humidity is killing me ugh

| Good Morning 10s, New, and Candy! I am enjoying my coffee and the birds and your company this morning. I will be having dinner with friends and then a late supper with family.
I also hope to get the blinds hung properly. I have mollies to put the screws back in and have the HOLD. Then I can finally do the window treatment over the patio door. I work slowly and keep the fans on. I do not want to close up and put the AC on ... it is still cool enough here that I can do that.
Welcome, Candy! I have heard it is dry there.

I have read many of James Lee Burke's novels so when you talk about your home, I think of some of the descriptions he has in his books of southern Louisiana. Have you read them? Are you in an area like he described?

| I have not read his books. I moved to north louisiana 5 years ago but lived in south louisiana for 10 years prior to that and I really miss it down there. Will need to look up his books and see what they are like.
