A Sermon By Pastor Deacon Fred

Welcome friends, please be seated. Thank you.
Folks, it's a sad fact that we've got so many unsaved people running around the State of Iowa - sooner or later we're bound to bump into a hell bound Catholic. You know what I'm talking about? We've known their kind for hundreds of years. They're the ones that used to kill people for reading the Bible back when True Christians had to hide out in order to Praise Jesus the right way. Truly SavedĀ® Christians were always persecuted by the Catholics. Did you know that before they called themselves Catholics, they were called Romans? That's right! And they used to take folks like you and me and throw us to the lions. They even used to throw us up on crosses and light our heads on fire, until one of their fancy emperors decided there was enough money to be made by creating a state religion based on Christianity. So then the whole lot of Roman society became Catholic. And they took all the candle lighting, statue praying, and secret societies they used to have and just mixed them up with the Bible. Anyone who didn't agree with it, was either hunted down and killed or kicked out of the country.

Dear brothers and sisters, it's not too hard to see. These folks are still more pagan than Christian. Only now, their favorite goddess is Mary, the mother of Jesus. They try to be politically correct and say things like, "We don't pray to Mary, we just give her homage or ask her to run off and take our prayers to Jesus when He's too busy to hear them." Well, what the heck's the ding dang difference? Catholics are no better than pagans or Wiccans, praying to stone statues and trees. Even if they aren't in fact praying to Mary, which they are, Jesus is very clear in Luke 4:8 when he says, "You shall do homage to the Lord your God; Him alone shall you adore." In fact, Jesus' mother just got in the way most of the time. In Mark 3:31-35, we learn, "There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee. And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? And he look round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother." It doesn't stop there friends. Did you know that Catholics are so darn stupid they believe that Mary was a virgin until the day she died? I guess they never read about what happened when Jesus visited his home town in Matthew 13:55-56 and all his old neighbors proclaimed, "Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us?" You see! Mary had a whole litter of kids! Everyone in Nazareth knew it. But them Pope-lovin', candle-lighting, ring-kissin' Catholics deny it!

Please understand he does not speak for all Christians, or for that matter, any Christians that I know personally. Corruption happens all over and churches aren't immune. I cannot find a single place in the Bible where Jesus told His followers to use His words as a sword to attack others. Rather, if His message was rejected, they were to shake the dust from their feet and walk away, not club them with contempt.

In this message, Deacon Fred has failed as a minister of God's Word.

I agree with what you say. My point in posting this is that it is an example of how some Christians preach with the wrath of God, or rather, their perception of God, even when referring to other Christians. It is a way of denouncing and criticizing others. I see it as a form of brainwashing, that is responsible for the division of Christians, not to mention hypocrisy, also one of the many reasons that others choose not to belong to organized religion. scorpio, this is why I keep you blocked. You claim to be the opposite of a mocker, scoffer and a basher. You are not and this post is just further proof of it. You have blatantly attacked ALL christianity and believers in, with your post. You would never tell me when I asked you, what do you have to offer that is better. Your focus seems to be, what is wrong with others rather than what is right with you. I pity you, not because you don't want the Lord, but because you have nothing that is better than Him or it would show up in your writing. This is pure prejudice, and it is why I will continue to keep you off my threads. You bring new meaning to the term "wicked witch". Good bloody luck with that. And don't give me, "well I just" crap either. You are smart, maybe too smart for your own good. But you know "not" what you do!

I didn't say ALL Christians...I said SOME. And I don't think I am alone in this way of thinking. I know not all preach this way, but it is an example of how SOME do. There is no need to pity me, or call me a "wicked witch". I also have a right to my opinions, and my opinion is that this preacher is out of line.

As I posted before, I have been in Christian churches, and grew up Protestant. These aren't my words, they are the words of someone who is supposed to be Christian, and preaching the word of God. It is an example of how and why there is separation. I don't feel a need to offer anything "better" to anyone. Investigating whatever one chooses is a personal, spiritual journey. Everyone and anyone who is looking for spiritual direction has a right to believe as they wish. My beliefs are also bashed in this sermon, along with others. My point, is that it is words like these that are used to cause disharmony and separation. And I do know what I do, and hold no one responsible but myself. I just don't know how a Christian man can preach these words and think it is condusive to harmony and love.

Youre right scorpio, I was wrong to call you a name. Please forgive me for that. And it is wrong to block anyone here because if I can't communicate with folks, I can't very well talk to them about Jesus which is my purpose here. But yes, most of all, it's unloving to block people

This preacher was not right, I couldn't agree more and I have been in churches like that and walked out. All are not like that though scorpio and all christians don't call names and act like I do. I believe at any given time any of us can be and probably are prejudice. It does little to further our cause though. I mean, if I am trying to share the love of God but others see hate in me, well, I don't want to be in those shoes when I meet my Maker. I do hope one thing though sister(because we are all brothers and sisters in the flesh) that both of us realize that looking at ourselves and our own short-comings(we all have them)in order to grow in a constructive way, is time well spent. I am betting you will agree. But focusing on what the problem may be is a waste, focusing on a solution is the a better way, imo

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! Listen girls, this is too dang funny I just got through giving scorpio my loving little speech, I go back because I have an email, and it's from a guy I don't know. He sends me a wink which just means nothing to me, LOL!! Anyway, I pop open his profile and the first thing I see is "catholic". So Im sitting here alone but I talk to myself a lot. I threw my hands up in the air and said "good god he's a catholic" So hows that for "not" being prejudiced, don't answer that, Well, it's just a loving nudge from the God of my understanding Very humbling for me and that ain't a bad thing

I hope your day is wonderful! denise

Denise, Believe me, I didn't post what I did in hopes of angering you personally. And I am sorry you took it that way. As I said, it is an example of something totally against any kind of Christian preaching I have been accustomed to. I DON'T in any way think that ALL Christians are preaching these kinds of un-God like words. It was your choice to block me, because you don't like what I have/or don't have to offer you, and you think it is from satan. I apologize to you if I have offened you, or anyone else. However, we are all humans and should try to respect others, even if we disagree. Peace

There is undoubtedly division among churches , certain minor dissagreemets, some to me are extroardanary dissagreements as well. But I wont apologize for GOD'S words. ALL of the bible is true, NOT ALL of the people in the past present and future will always do whats right. If GOD told such and such people to battle and destroy cities and people therein , it was for a reason, usually for sinning against him big time.

I love GOD and he loves us all , I hate satan and sin, do I still sin from time to time? Yes , I do , but GOD , gave ALL of us his son, to speak on our behalf and forgive us. Now again , every word in the bible is TRUE! Hebrews chapter 4:16 says alot and it has came to me in the past week, from different people in different ways. Therefore I will NOT apologize for GOD's laws and words, I have NO right to do so nor do I need to.

One more thing that I read today, was a message from, a family member and it was perfect timing. Hosea chapter 4, this is speaking directly AGAINST, paegan beliefs and the people were doing such rituals and GOD ripped them for it, and took away the REWARD from them. I didnt write that GOD did. Also I want to add, Im not critizing anyone on these forums, Im simply putting GOD's word into the internet world. But if you dont believe one thing in the bible you arent gonna believe anything else in it. My prayer is that GOD's word , will reach the hearts of some and my little seed planting will flurish in the hearts of the blind and wicked, IN Jesus name!!

Well, that is a perception, I don't consider myself blind or wicked. People can think of me what they will. Believe it or not I do have people in my life that love me and visa versa. I am not some kind of monster, with no respect for others.
