| As some of you know, I posted a thread about a hellacious day I had yesterday and the whole speed limit thread as well rant and ravings.
Weeeeeeeeeeeell, let me tell you...today was great! Started out great as I was off today! I'm talking to Alex by text, getting some errands ran, finding things I went out in search of, I'm thinking man this is turning out to be a gorgeous day! I was even going to come home and lounge in the pool and relax with my fav bottle of pinot grigio wine I bought to treat myself.
Then it happened...........MURPHEY!! The rat bastard!
I'm at UPS shipping some big packages home to my son because I spoil him to pieces...lol One of the boxes breaks open, so I'm thinking OK no biggie I'll just buy a new box simple enough. Carry other packages in, buy a box, go back out to care and repack everything. I'm thinking, ah see no sweat...problem solved! Get in UPS, take of paperwork, I'm feeling great knowing my little sweetheart back home is gonna love the gifts. Get back out to car.........where are my keys???
Yep, that's right...I locked them IN my car! Had laid them down when I was reboxing and shut and locked the car unknowing they were in there. I look for my valet key in my wallet....not there b/c I changed wallets and forgot to transfer it over..aaaaaaagh So I'm 3 miles from home...I debate..call a few people I know, no answer FIGURES!!! lol
So, I decided, I'm not paying the price of a locksmith, I'll just walk home and get my valet key and walk back. Grand idea, beautiful day and I'll get my excerise in, it's hot but I'm in a tank and skirt so I should be fine....I thought.
Well, after a couple guys cat calling/whistling from their cars and honks, I made it home and back up there got the car unlocked and home, but my feet are KILLING me and I have a few blisters....don't walk 6 miles in flip flops.
I'm still having that bottle of wine though HAHAHA Aye, gotta laugh right?

| You know, that was my first thought b/c I went back in and made them undo the package I reboxed...haha
When I didn't see it there, I knew what I had done. I left the UPS store looked in then window at backseat of the car and colorful language started to fly. I could have kicked myself in the arse...hahaha
Thanks, I'm trying again tomorrow...hahaha

| i have been there.. except i left both sets off keys in my house...
i had cleaned out my purse and layed both sets on table. went out back door and was like WTF
i had to climb through my kitchen window... and got a spliter in my leg from ledge

| LOL yea I kinda wish in times like today and some like yours that I have done in my past that I had a video of it...b/c I was laughing at myself after the fact.
One time in my first apartment, I locked myself out and thought eh hell I've seen enough Macgyver to be crafty...hahahhaa So I find a bobbi pin in my purse and a nail file...I'm thinking OH I GOT THIS!!!! Yea nothing!!! However, I took my drivers license out and shimmied it down the door jam and WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA LAAAAAAAAAAA .... I was estatic! Then it dawned on my...OMG a burgler or rapist could have broken in on me...so I had the locks changed the next day...LMAO

heck i was waiting for the cops to show up and say they had a report of a breakin...
although i am sure the people passing by on the road got a show of my a** hanging out the window.... that would of been one for the books
