| In my reading lastnight, God once again added more "unto" me I've found I cannot outgive the Lord. If I spend(give)even an hour's time to Him(devoted to only Him)He heaps blessing(Joy, peace etc)on me.
I pray over this forum today Lord, over this site. First I thank you for the opportunity You allow people to communicate here, when many times, they may not have much contact with others at all. You know this is my case for now Lord. I ask that Your Will be done here, not mine. I pray for every christian to keep their eyes on You and what You would have us do here, not our "natural man/woman" ideas about how to serve You, but Your "Plan" for us to serve You. I thank you in advance for all You will do here today Father, In the precious name of Jesus, amen
I doubt any follower of Christ will fail to see the message and how it pertains especially to what we face "here" each day, but will also face in the offline world,
Love to All, denise
2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Notes: "Study to show thyself approved unto God" is a command. As you study the Bible, you will discover that it does not just contain the Word of God - it IS the Word of God. You must also keep in mind that the Word of God contains the words of God, as well as the words of Satan, demons, angels and man - both good and bad. God is truth and cannot lie. Satan "is a liar and the father of it" John 8:44. Man is natural and is therefore limited, and does not always speak the truth. To illustrate: Matthew 22:15-46. In this portion of Scripture, we have the words of Jesus, of the Pharisees, of the Herodians and of the Sadducees. The Pharisees, Herodians and Sadducees were trying to entangle Jesus in His teachings, that they might accuse Him of breaking God's law. Their words were spoken with evil intent, revealing the thinking of the natural man, along with the words of God that came from the lips of Jesus.
As you study the Bible, ask yourself these questions:
1)Who is speaking: God, demon, angel or man?
2)To whom is he speaking: to the nation Israel, to the Gentiles, to the Church, to men in general or to some individual man or being?
3)How can this Scripture be applied to my own life to make me a better Christian?

hehe
That is awesome, would you believe that is very close to how I was taught to teach the Bible to others. Only I had to take a class on systematic theology seems the Holy Spirit taught this to you. I am kind of envious
I would only add that you MUST check the context. Is it allegorical and if you want just a few more gyms of the study look inot the orgianl language especially with Greek because the English doesn't aways do it justice. Example
John 8:58 "...before Abraham was, I AM. (I AM in the Greek is present tense meaning Christ was continuosly existing before Abraham's birth)
Great work!!!

I believe that the Holy Spirit has directed into "the right thing to do" or "righteousness" stringz. I hope you enjoy the topics I post. Although, I truly believe that anything I post will not be from me, but from God as long as I am listening to Him and obeying I pray for other christians to be bold in correcting me if I am not speaking from His Word and guidance by the Holy Spirit. Discipline coming from the Lord has never harmed me, only made me more willing to obey, which brings me more peace and joy.

| My grandmother, who died at the age of 105 (2003) from pancreatic cancer,
would read the bible for an hour every morning from the time she could read
to the age of about 99.
She knew that bible from cover to cover and could tell you anything.
Oh, she was a wonderful and loving woman.
She told me many a story about her life as if it were in the bible itself!
She lived in Pana, IL at one time. Near the RR tracks. One day a hobo came
a-knockin'. He asked for a bite of food. She told him to stay outdside
and she'll bring him something. Now this was about 1948, my mother was 10.
After he finished his feast for king, he thanked her & went on his merry way.
My mother ask grandma why she was so kind to the road weary traveler & she said,
"You never know, he might be an angel sent down from Heaven."
My mother has thousands of stories like this one on cassettes.
She started recording grandma since 1987.

hello i would like to say thanku for shareing these with us... it is so great to set and leson to the older people talk...(somthing i have not done in years) they have seen and done so much..
anyway these is somthing iv had on my heart for a wail now..
what do we do to help people like these these day?
the world is so much more full of sin.. and the devil is has worker ever where.. people are killing one anther just becouse they enjoy seeing other die... are cry out for help ..for what ever reson it is..
anyway if i seen someone walking down the road trying to get a ride.. i have a saying i allways say when i see them ...IF U DONT KNOW THEM U CANT TRUST THEM..(and with that iv lorn that not at all true. (even when u know a porson u cant allway trust them)
( i lorned that with my last husband after we had been married over 6 years .. and it was not just by cheating on me ( witch he did do) but he did somthing worse then that . witch one my baby was hurt from it but that not what we are talking about just wonted to thow that out there to show my saying is not allway true) but anyway now all i do is say a little pray for them ,, but allso now i find myself thinking .. what if that was JESUS? and i just drove right pass him... (but then i think of all the people who have been hurt from peple like these..
but not only that ..
where i live u dont really see the homeless like u do in big citys..but there is one the biger town i live close to .. that in one port u do see some who are setting on the side the road .. holding sign.. that read well do anything for help.. well do anything for food.. anything well well help.. diff think like that..and ever time i see them my heart just drops ... and i find my self felling bad and wonting so bad to stop and help them....
then these little voice come to my head what can u do.. what if they are a killer? rapest ? anything like that.. thin i think what if it JESUS... but 90% of the time i keep driving... one time i did reach in my porse and pulled out i think it was $5 and thou wendow i handed it to him.. he step up and rudle pulled it from my head saying somthing that sounded mean from the tone in his voice. well i got a little mad about that.. but moved on .well why i pulling thou the green light i looked back and seen a cop was behide me and he stop and said somthing to that man.. and that man moved on.. so i seen what it was he know that cop whoud do somthing and he was worryed about that.. so now im like i dont wont them to be carried away by the cope.. over it ... but i allso think well im sure they just wont it to bye beer are somthing like that are worse drugs .... and im not helping them in that way... but now i find my self thinking what if .. what if? what if it is not that? what it they just really down on there luck? what if it jesus? so i dont know im lost in it.. but it so cool to see people have done somthing to help them... and allso i know there still people out there like that.. and i pray ever day ... that i well leave my heart open more and more with our lord that he lead me to who is safe and who is not.. and that if it is somone who is really bad.. then i well know god wont let them hurt me are my family...
anyway i just wonted to let u know u thing made me think.. on top pray hearder.. and share what been going though my head and heart over thing like that ..
GOD BLESS EACH AND EVER ONE OF U...
