| This hasnt been a recent issue...We have battled the horse owner with this same problem...Me and dad have been watering these horses because the owner dosnt take a damn bit of care to them....they have very little grass to eat and that is it....it is pissing me off....i went to work this morning and the water tank was over 20 feet from where it was placed by the fence....and bone f**king dry....i moved it back and gave them some water...and those horses LOVE me now...but it pisses me off that people do this to animals...what i wouldnt give to lock them up...not give them any food or water..and let the owners see what it is like....all of these mares are on no more than 8 acres....not near enough room for them to be able to eat a good amount of grass...it is ate down to the ground...

| I would turn the owners lousy piece of shit a** in to the authorities....animal abuse pisses me off and the punishment still isn't what it should be....thank god you all look after them.........he must be a cold hearted bastard!!!

| stormy...i have been in contact with the humanity society...they have informed me with my location to contact the local sheriff...that will be done the next time that tank is empty...

| I agree with you, its screwed. Get the owner, chain 'em up with 20'chain, put the water oh, 23' away. Any Humane type service's around there? Call?

| all you have to do is call the local humane society .. they usually have cruelty investigators that will try to convince the owner to fix the problem and if that doesn't work they will take the animals ..

| tell me about it scruff....if at all possible ill try to obtain custody of those horses....im not sure if i will be capable of it..but they need to at least be with someone who is going to give them mares the attention...love....and care they require and deserve...

| just be careful what you do and keep your emotions in check . every state has different laws regarding live stock and i've seen people trying to help end up in deep trouble for their efforts

| that is true..that is why i WILL NOT give them any thing for food....a bad bail of hay...and one of those "registered" horses getting colic and dieing from it...than i am capable of being held liable for it...that is why i am also in contact with teh oklahoma humain society

thats all you can reall do,let them handle it, im sure someone will look into it,no need for charges or anything to be thrown on you when all youve been doing is helping

| this just makes my skin crawl....do you know the owners??we have animal control here...dont care where its at...or type of animal...their response time is almost faster than paramedics....i try to find homes for the cats dumped off...but no one has room anymore...so i have to call these guys....makes me cry everytime....they said this year alone they put down bout 2500 cats....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......arent they starving to death 4???i would contact the owners...if no response....I WOULD STEAL THEM....1 BY 1......
