Just out of curiosity how many active duty or veterans do we have on here. And by the way thank you for all you do.

Does being the ex of a retired Naval Petty Officer for over 18 years count?

I served in the Army for 3yrs. but I don't consider myself a vet because I didn't go to war, those guys are the real vet's to me.

brwsugar...........you are a vet. You served your country regardless if it was in this country or out. I too am a vet and even though I did serve in Desert Storm Desert Shield I do not always feel that I really am a vet. I look at the men and women who served in WWII and Veitnam.......To me......those are our true heroes and true vets, but you we are to. I am so thankful to live in the country that I live in, and I am proud to have served her.

Hi to all fellow vets. 23 years here, and still serving. Been in National Guard, Active Duty, and now I'm in the Army Reserve. I'd retire, but I'm having a great time with it.

I am a veteran. I was in the gulf before almost any of you knew about the gulf. I have such a great respect for anyone who has ever served. And for those that have made it their life, I'm glad you're there. I couldn't be.

1967 to 1979 as a 27270C. If you served you was a Vet. Even if you never seen combat or went overseas you supported those of us that did. Without you we could have never did the job we did.
