not that i wasnt patriatic BEFORE 911,(never really thought about patriatism).
but since 911,well,im very much so now,(I think about it all the time).
hard 2 beleive it will be 6 yr's.,(in 16 day's).
my JOB IS supporting our troops,(literally).
i pack parts for them,I MAKE parts for them,so,not ONLY supprting them,but,in doing so,they support US!
im NOT "putting myself on a pedistal",AT ALL,(I put the troops on a pedistal,highly!).
i recieved an appreciation award from a Colonel about 3 mos. ago,for sorting thru
some stryker armor plating that had come back from iraq,(the armor plating had "damage" ALL over it,1 bullet proof widow was "bubbled" out probubly 4"'s!),as i went up to accept the certificate he thanked me,(i almost wept,i DID choke-up),i then replied,"No,Sir,thank you soldier's".
it humbles me DEEPLY!
as i was sorting thru that armor,i was wondering:
what were our troops seeing thru this bullet-proof window,what were they hearing,what were the FEELING?
Recognize Our Troops!
appreciate them,hold them HIGH!
THEY are The HERO's!

| they sure have my support. at the elementary school where i work, we sent hundreds of pkges., cards,and letters. our troops deserve MORE! ppl., pick up some things, anything that you think they can use, thank you cards, writting materials candy, anything i know, would be appreciated. they are fighting for us, don't you think they deserve OUR best?

| I just want to say thank you for all of your support. im currently a marine stationed in hawaii. I deployed to iraq last year. Im getting out of the marine corps very soon, but some of my best friends are over there now. Again i just wanted to say thank you.

| A local radio station has asked everyone to wear red on Friday to show their support for the troops. I've been wearing red on Friday for about 3 months now. Thank you to all who have served, are serving and will serve. It is YOU who keeps us free!!!

| Blueyedsinger.....In Canada we started the "Red Friday" last year. Some of the military wives actually started it as a way of showing our support. We had a rally in Ottawa (Canada's Capital) and over 10,000 people showed up wearing red. It was such a touching site to see.
I am proud of our troops .... they are heroes to all of us.

filthy names while home on leave. In my time, the American public mistunderstood
the Military reason for existance. Now, many Americans except the Armed Forces of the
