Thanks to the incredible generosity of IAVA supporters like you, we reached our goal of raising $20,000 for paralympic athletes Scott Winkler and Carlos Leon in a matter of weeks. These two Iraq vets are pushing themselves to the limit, determined to bring home gold medals from Beijing for Team USA. Scott and Carlos continue to be an inspiration, and we are thrilled that your support allows them to achieve their goals. Your generous donations have helped both of them pay for daily expenses, including gas and meals, along with more expensive items that are necessary for their training. This will not be the last you hear of Scott and Carlos. IAVA is helping to produce a documentary film based on their journey to Beijing. It will be a remarkable insight into the determination and hard work it takes to be a member of the US Paralympic Team.
