At your place of work. I find that the guys at work who I could never see them approaching a women at a club or out an about all found their wife at their previous or current place of work.

But to answer your questions. Work place, Night Clubs, and through friends are probably the top three answers to the question dating before the internet. But right before the internet there were compaines being formed where you walking into an office an look through hundreds of photos and then look at video tapes and then you leave a little note for them to see when they came in the office. The internet put them all out of business.

Ahhh the good old days. The great part about those places, you knew the women were serious about meeting someone becuase the cost of joining was about $1200 a year.

My favorite, Parties not the a-typical public night clubs , the ones that take place in a rented dance Hall, for charities, fund raiser or polical parties...ect You tend to meet people who don't go clubbing every week.

High School?? LOL

Nowadays, I think I would probably hang out at the local military base if I had the time. Just something about a guy in uniform.

Naw...You got to step your game up and go to a nineteen hole, (the diner area at an expensive golf club or resort and have a drink and see what happens).

My sister actually told me this one when I asked her "How is she meeting rich guys?"...lol

The men would just club the woman in the head and drag her away.

Home Depot: that's a good suggestion, they do like to help... maybe I need to make a trip there tomorrow and find someone to help explain the complexities of tile laying or tell me what is the best wood screw to use.

Also- Bowling allies used to be a good meeting place, find an interesting guy- even if he's not your type, ask for help with your swing. He may be more your type than you think, then again he may have friends.

Plus there are always singles groups at church. There are often all types there.

Speaking of types, how about a nice sexaholics anonymous meeting? lol

myst... my church only has 2 single men of "age" (out of high school or older... LOL) so we don't have a singles group. LOL

Now, I will be moving and doing remodelling of my new home... Home Depot may be my second home. LOL
