I must be one then. Moved from Indianapolis metro area (Go Colts!) in June 2007 and have been here in Chattanooga since then. Although, I will say that I am *not* a NY Yankees at all. Go Cubs!

I don't understand "Southernese" to this day and why people call each other "Sweetheart" when they're even total strangers, like in a restaurant and such. I don't understand the rationale of thinking here in Tennessee, let alone the South.

Revised.. I was born in Chicago (thus, a native Chicagoan) but lived the vast majority of my life in either Chicagoland (in Indiana) or within a hour of metro Indy. BTW, Purdue plays Northern Colorado this upcoming Saturday. Hail Purdue!

Sweetheart is something my mom, a former girlfriend, etc. would say to me. I am a man of many "whys". I like to know the "why" behind everything in life. Otherwise, most everything else is a generalization to me.
Thanks for welcoming me. Chattanooga is very cliquish, but I have a small group of friends locally that I fit in well.
