| That sircharles and his team had gone missing whilst on recognizance in and around Batumi. His last post on this site was I think around 15:08 on the 30/08/2008 in a thread to jrc. In that thread it was suggested to sircharles 'At the end of the day if this stuff means so much to you that you can't just turn off your computer, go do something else, find something else to hold your interest, you have a major problem.'
So this is for jrc as much as many on here that have been praying for his safe return.
Today the team was found in mountains close to the Turkish border, they are now on their way to Cyprus to a military medical centre;
Initial casualty assessment;
2 team member bruising and lacerations
1 team member compound fracture of left arm
1 team member needing stitches in head and face wounds
1 team member severe back and leg injuries, probably made worse by a 1500+foot climb over mountains to reach Turkey. The later being Charles.
To all of you who were aware of their plight and were praying I offer you my sincere thanks.
To jrc I just want to say this, ' He did have something else to hold his interest but he also wanted to try and hold a group together he felt passionate about, so I do NOT THINK HE HAS A PROBLEM'
Also just for the record the two other members of his team with the worst injuries are not white ask them if sircharles could be racist. No do not bother, I know their answer and you and anyone that suggested it would be in a world of hurt.
The military is a brotherhood it lasts for a lifetime and everyone on here needs to remember that. You live together, you bleed together, and at times you die together. For the ones that remain YOU all have a duty to hold that brotherhood sacred for who else would have given their life for you, or would still give their life for you. For the friends you have lost, for the buddies you laid to rest run this group in THEIR memory.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
