| Well, darlin'... i'm going through the same thing and i'm 55. dating a 48year old who decided to go out with another woman. Oh, but I'm his very dear friend. The day is gorgeious and I know they are out on a boat enjoying all weekend while i'm home miserable...and he knows it because we talked about it.
it hurts deeply. deeply. I even asked my pharmacist if there was a pill you could take to ease the pain. unfortunately, alcohol, pot or anything else just waylays the pain.
it's about loving yourself, but it's not easy when you give your all and want to tell them to f-off but you are too damned nice and just don't want to make it that easy for them.
my prayers are sent to you, because i need them too.
