this may be true this guy has had friends that liked me and he would not allow them to ask me out cause he liked me so much and knew how they were and did not want me hyrt so i know he care plus even if things dont work i think our friendship would still come out strong

I tried that once with my first ex after the second ex and I split. Found out he was the same jerk he was before. Thank God I found out before I remarried him.

thats just it he is not a jerk and we broke up cause we were yong and had no way to see each other he now lives bout 15 mins from me and i hang with him alot

I think it depends on why you broke it off in the first place. If you were just not ready for the committment at the time and now things are different, it might be ok. If there were serious problems then I say people as a rule do not change. I tried going back to my x after a 2 year breakup and all we did was spend another year rehashing the same old stuff until we broke up now for good. He still won't stay out of my head, but he comes in there less and less every day. I know it is best for us to leave it alone. Hope it helps, KJ
