I usually call first just because if things don't go good then he doesn't have my number. Heard of *67??? Works.

I agree with chopper if its someone new in my life I make the call. I use the *67 so they won't have my number. This is incase it doesn't work out.

that could go eather way, some guys like to call first, but some guys like me are kinda nervis about that and would rather the girl call first to make shure that she is interested to at least talk to him.

If you like him go for it...life is to short to sweat the small stuff...what matters is that you can call him...he wouldn't have given you his number if he didn't want you to use it.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but
DON'T CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
As much as people like to say it doesn't matter it does. It makes you look to eager
men love a chase. Might sound like a stereotype, however, we are all taught this
otherwise you wouldn't ask and do what you thought was right for the time.
I suppose you need to take in the factor of how you met and if he gave his n#
based on friendship or something more. Remember it's up to you.

Actually I did call and I couldn't get him and then he texted me saying that he was working. i'm glade i got it over with. Thanks for the advise everyone!

I think he should call first. I know this is the 21st century and all, but I just think the man should be the assertive one to get things started. If a woman is comfortable calling I think it is ok, but for me, I will not do it. JMO KJ
