| There a multitude of reasons why Palin is a questionable choice. But this speaker's argument was really torn apart with the trailer park reference at the end. Why did he just not say white trash? Talk about veiled racism...going the other direction!

| Scary thing is that he saved the reverse racism until the end and the average numbnut would have probably not have listened to the whole speech. Rather, they would hear a 30 sec soundbyte and parrot it.

| This speaker's strategy is the very one that I fear may be Obama's as well.

Hon this is an exageration often used when someone makes a cartoon. They never said that. But the Rev. Wright clearly showed a very racist agenda in his speechs. Leaving himself and those he mentored (Obama) open to this sort of cartoon exagerations.
Although I know the cartonist isn't making exact quotes they do make a point rooted in truth.

| one of jeremiah wright's biggest influences was black theologian (a kind descriptor for such a radical nutcase) named james cone.
cone is a lone exponent of black liberation theology, which is overtly racist.
cone writes of a "black jesus who leads blacks as a chosen people" in america.
he also says whites are "the devil" and the "source of all human misery world wide" and need to be eradicated.
cone is a far cry from such eloquent black writers and thinkers as james baldwin, who wrote "the fire next time" (1963) in an effort to avoid racial conflagraton....and per many opinons, served to galvanize public sentiment to allow the passage of the civil rights act of 1964.

| another thing about palin's pastor: i steer VERY clear of religious nutballs, whether they be obama's supporters pastor wright or father pfleger......or this off-the-wall minister of sarah palin.
i would have had trouble with mike huckabee as president due to some of his religious views....and he is REAL mainstream compared to any of the 3 clerics mentioned above.

| Yeah I know what you mean. I was shaken by the thought of Pat Robinson being president. He just might think that God needs his help or something.
