| I have twin daughters and a boy that is the world to me..That i would go to any extent for they ask me for something and if can at all i will usally get it for them but in return they know that to get it they have to do good in school and so on..and if they bring home a report card that is filled with F's i usally take a privallage away from them untill they can bring thier grades up or whatever it might be does this make me a bad parent ? for punishing them this way ? because i have been told i am for this reason

| Hell no that doesn't make you a bad parent. Kids have got to learn there are consequences to what they do in life. This will help them later on in life when decision are harder and more complicated. I do that all the time with my son, however, to him they are just material things so it doesn't work out as well but he does know that money is a good thing. I tell him (since he is 9) that he gets a quarter for passing. Dang if he doesnt have me dishing out quarters.

| Well for instance about a year ago i got thier grade cards and they all had been doing good in school so i bought them a four wheeler which they had been wanting..But thier mom seems to think that just because one got all F's in one quarter none of them should get anything untill that ones grades comes up..She says its playing favors if i buy they other 2 that did good something and not the other one which just recently happen

| Ok one of the twins is a very smart girl the other one is as well just does not apply herself would rather talk to friends and mouth her teachers instead of doing her work and when she does do her work she usally aces everything but at times she just dont want to and she wont no matter what you do..But to answer your question No its not a sudden thing she kinda just takes spells

| sometimes when children get bad grades its can be due to boredom, they are just not being challenged enough. this is coming from personal experience.

| Well my personal opinion and what i tell them each and everyday is that..I only wish i could have gone to a school like they go to..We currently live in a town that has a population of MAYBE 4,500 ppl so its a small town school myself had to go to school in Kansas City Mo. which was bad enough upon itself and i always tell them try doing your work while a riot is breaking out in your school and hope that you dont get smacked upside the head by a flying chair before you got your paper done so you could possibly pass so the way i see it they got it good in the school thier in
