I used to be able to do this one without thinking about it and did it well... not like Mario... where I would walk off a cliff with 3 steps everytime.

Now, this one is a test.

Pac-master Jewelz. Up arrow turns the pieces. Down makes the pieces fall faster, and well left, right, ya get it? If you maneuver the pieces so that they're piled up at least 4 horizontal rows across, but only one row is open vertically... to fit one of the long stick pieces in. You get 1000 points automatically. I never will get pacman. Not since the 80s... and joysticks are much easier. And I get scared when the little dudes chase me, so I usually end up jumping out my chair or something and lose almost instantly.

lol thanks yeah don't help me anymore I have my hands full with my 4 arrows. I would prefer the joy stick model too...I had to get used to the arrows...I played tetris a few times and crashed and burned...pacman gets too crazy once you get to about 50k is when you really need to strap your seatbelt on because those little creeps are on the move...I jump out of my chair sometimes too lol

The higher the level, the faster the blocks fall in Tetris. So in pacman do the little dudes chase you faster? ... I wouldn't know what happens past the first level, because I've only passed level 1 like one time.

Woo China!

LOL, I never even make it to the fruit, I just freak out from those little guys chasing me. Only you would try to analyze their psychology, lol.

Have you ever panicked so much that you just go back and forth through the little "portal" thing that takes you to the other side of the screen?
.
Maybe that's why I can't get passed level 1 and will stick to Tetris where nothing chases me.

China, aren't these games exactly what DH needed? Our own little escape.

Good night and good luck working with 2D design in a 3D world...huh?...I'm working in 5D...I just add the 2 together and went right past the 4th. So what does 5D design look like you might ask?...huh?...I have samples if you haven't a clue, it's magic from the quantum...huh?

My brain hurts, I'll decipher what you said later . In the mean time, they make us take a bunch of drawing classes which are supposed to train our minds or something... and can only do it in black and white. If you can master 2D design you can master other dimensions I guess.

It (as it says in my syllabus) "enables the student to develop an awareness of the visual elements of art and principles of organization. Through problem solving, critical analysis, and execution of design studies, students will learn how to improve their visual aesthetics. Students will employ the visual elements of line, shape, texture, value, space, and color to produce successful design studies that utilize the organizational principles of unity and variety, emphasis & focal point, balance, scale & proportion, and rhythm."

Which means.... Blah. All I have to do is draw for 3 1/2 hours and BAM I accumulate more credits towards my degree.

Here's what I worked on this weekend.

will show it to ya when I'm done later tonight.

I think maybe I'm gonna do like a TETRIS and PACMAN related theme for next week's illustration board, haha.

Gotta get to photography class. L8r Pacmaster.
Very cool pic China

TY, my last off topic post in here, lol. I only consider art things that come from my heart and do out of my own free will. This to me was a simple assignment that I had to do for class. Even so, it's more than what it looks. We went around taking rubbings of different textures we found, and then had to create a composition filling in shapes with those textures. I used: the speakers on my keyboard, the frets on my guitar, an f-hole of my violin, air conditioner vents, an arrangement of buttons, dice, bobby pins, the screen in my window, the little hooks on the back of a bra, and a wooden picture frame. It was pretty weird having to piece it all together, kinda like TETRIS.

TY, pacmaster. Yeah 2D design class, lol. Ok, I'm off to bed like a good lil Munky cause I have early classes tomorrow. Blehhh! Sweet Munky crackers for you guys---> [:M:] [:M:] [:M:] [:M:] . Have fun tryin to master Tetris, it's good for the mind. I still don't get pacman, but I will one day.

I will stop running terrified back and forth through the little portal things from one side to the other,

I will stop jumping literally out of my seat like those things are REALLY chasing me,

I will somehow get at least one little fruit thingy,

And mark my words.... I will get passed level 1.

Nite

We never had a video game in the home, and my parents use to holler at me for spending $10 a week at the arcades..lol..my best friend had Atari , so I spent lots of time over there..but I still suck at video games. It's my friend's fault..we would play two person games, and whenever I was winning, he would hit reset ..bastidge ..
