Becoming a widow at 54 has made me realize that I have always thought young for my age. I am wondering if age makes you more open and up front about things or if it is just me. i always have liked blues and rock and not waltzes.

It's not easy becoming a widow at any age but it makes you reevaluate who you are. Most of the time you find you like that person and still have alot to give and experience. I tend to like blues and rock also.

Welcome to DH and enjoy yourself--it's fun most of the time

It really comes down to the way you grew up, I'm 53 and I was a wild child, Most of the things that are done now, I have already done. you know,,, been there done that,, So, to try to find something "new" is not going to happen, every thing now is reruns of my time, so, You could say I'm looking for another me..lol. someone that is not trying to be something he's not.
my 2 cents worth
