Spending Christmas Eve alone. First time in my entire life! Seems lonely. Everyone is asking for snow, they can all have mine! If it stops, I will be going to my daughter's Christmas Day. If it doesn't, I will be stuck home. My son is lives in Florida, so I won't get to see him this year. Oh well, I still have my dog Sammie to keep me company.

Sweetest I hear what you are saying - I'm supposed to fly out Christmas Day from Chicago to be with my son and his wife in Vegas ... and my new grandson. Son just called tonight to tell me that Christmas dinner is to be catered by the Bellagio - hoity toity!

But if the weather doesn't clear, I most likely will have PB&J for Christmas dinner.

Still and all, the holidays are always a blessing, no matter where I am, or whether I am with family, friends, or alone. I am truly blessed ... and the 'magic' of the holiday always touches me.

Hey Woody, I know the feeling. The barn will be closed to boarders and I will have Christmas morning with my daughter, her fiance, and my grandson. They will leave to have Christmas with the fiance, Justin's, family sometime around noon and I will settle in to enjoy the peace and quiet! Looking forward to it! Merry, merry!

I'm busy praying for snow

Be careful what ya pray for. We can't have Christmas, because we are snowed in. I have a four foot mountain of snow, clear across my front yard. My car is snowed in. The plow came around, and now we have even more. They said we are getting 4 - 7 inches tomorrow.
So, when you pray, you might want to say just a thin layer.
It could be worse.

It's my year to stay here .... but, several of us who are not going home for the holidays will be getting together and having lunch and spending the day watching movies, exchange a few gifts, and, of course, plenty of egg nog ....

I will spend Christmas Eve evening and Day at my daughters family (son in law and two grandchildren ages 11 & 9). Work on Friday and then back to you daughters on Saturday when my son and his family (daughter in law and two more grandchildren ages 2 & 6 months) where we’ll have our Christmas dinner that I plan on making. I’ve not made a Christmas dinner in a long time and I’m itching to do so. I hope I remember how to cook!!!!!!

I have just a little bit of wrapping, baking and shopping to do today.

Merry Christmas to all and have a safe and Blessed Holiday

I've been invited to a picnic in my sweetie's back yard! He even sent a picture! Since his backyard is in Yakima, WA I think I will pass up this opportunity (approx 8-10 inches of snow).

Seriously, I am going to church tonight with my daughter and her family, then back to her house for dinner with the rest of the family that can make it. I'll be with my son's family the day after Christmas. It is impossible to get everyone in the same place at the same time with my crowd. On Christmas Day, I will visit my Mom, talk to my love, and be at home for anyone who wants to stop by.

Merry Christmas to All.

I'm staying with my Daughter for a few days. I'll spend Christmas day with my Mother at her Nursing home. Don't have any family gatherings to go to,but it'll be a good few days I think.

Hope everybody has a good Christmas.

I know how you feel. I did have plans to go to Oklahoma but they fell though, so it's here by myself. Not really looking forward to it.

Been out delivering fruit baskets to friends and neighbors for the last few days. Tonight I played Santa for some of my granchildren who won't make it to grandpa's house tomorrow. Having fun and visiting a lot of fine folks.

Well I am now going over to my Ladyfriend's house to do some work on her shed. It does beat sitting at home alone. I have her and her son's presents with me and I will put them under the tree in the morning while they are still asleep, and then I will go to work on the shed and wait for them to wake up.

Just got back from going to look at differnt Christmas light displays. Saw one that will stay with me for quite sometime. A 16 yr old young man made and produced this light display that kept time to the Christmas music on a local radio station. Developed all the software for it, and set up all the lights. WOW very impressive. We drove the 15 miles to see his display and also to celebrate g-daughters b-day. Merry Christmas all and hope santa is good to you.
