I am having it easy this year as I am invited to my brothers home to share Christmas with him and his family. I am so looking forward to having a Holiday meal that I didn't have to cook. All I'll have to do is bring some wine,and I've made Chocolate peanut butter balls for the kids. Can't get any better, other than spending it with my kids and grand kids. They all live in different states , so this is next to best.

shannakiak Benton Harbor, MI age: 57	My nine year old and I just finished our traditional cookie baking with two special ones for Santa, and today, I finished wrapping the gifts. My sweetie is flying in from Michigan tomorrow where we will have four 1/2 days together. I will be spending Christmas with my two sons, and daughter-in-law, my 11 month old grandson, my brother, and my Moosey!! I hope everyone has a joyful and loving holiday season. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

My coworkers would like to poison me slowly for singing "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!" I love it! I'm scheduled to work - someone has to make Christmas somewhat normal for our incarcerated youth. I guess that's me. Was going to bus my 20 yr old son over from Yakima and go to my folks in Silverdale for Christmas day. But the weather and road conditions have brought an end to that. My son says "it won't be the last Christmas he spends alone, only the first." I wish you all safe travels, merry Christmas and a very happy New Year!

anne654 Springfield, MO age: 55	Merry Christmas to everyone! I finished last minute shopping this afternoon, we have had freezing rain here but the roads are okay so far. Need to go home after work and wrap presents for my daughter and grandson. Tomorrow (Christmas Eve) I have to work all day, but meeting a girlfriend for lunch as a surprise for my daughter, to get her out of the house! When I get off work tomorrow night at 7, my daughter and I will open presents from each other and have dinner. Christmas morning we will get up, fix breakfast and go to my son's house to give gifts to my 18 month old grandson. Later in the day we will go to ex sister-in-law's for a short visit, then home to cook a nice meal for my daughter and I and our neighbors. Had Christmas with my family in Aurora last weekend since I have to work Christmas Eve. And sent 3 big boxes of gifts to my oldest daughter and family in Germany.

morles San Antonio, TX age: 65	I was returning to Texas for Christmas after getting my folks in Assisted Living for the winter in Oregon... Well I got a unwanted two and half week stay in Las Vegas being broked down and awaiting parts (read my blog) and just got to Yuma,AZ...so I think I will stay right here for Christmas and dance with the snowbirds and fly back to San Antonio later in January for a spell flying out of San Diego...at that time... Now speaking of snow I was snow-in Las Vegas for a couple extra days also...So I think I will stick with just wanting snow in my sno-cones and let ya'll have all you want.... If you see a fat man Who's jolly and cute, Wearing a beard and A red flannel suit, And if he is chuckling And laughing away, While flying around In a miniature sleigh, With eight tiny reindeer To pull him along, Then let's face it... As of now, weather permitting, my youngest son and I will be waiting for my future son-in-law to come get us from KC and take us back, then bring us back home 12/26, in order to be with my daughter and my twin 19 year old Grandkids. 4evrtru Madison, IN age: 56	I had made up my mind that this year i will really be organized. and i am!!! gifts bought and wrapped as i got them, cookies and breads in freezer, dinner parties held and now i am sitting here wondering WHAT THE HECK DID I FORGET TO DO? i hope nothing. my greatest surprise to my kids is this: i sold my home so until i find a place they are staying at a hotel. i traded advertising for the rooms! when they walk into their rooms, it will be all decorated with tree, lights and a "fireplace." the little ones will be tickled that santa knew where to drop off the gifts. it will be a great time for sure. Son just called tonight to tell me that Christmas dinner is to be catered by the Bellagio - hoity toity! But if the weather doesn't clear, I most likely will have PB&J for Christmas dinner. Still and all, the holidays are always a blessing, no matter where I am, or whether I am with family, friends, or alone. I am truly blessed ... and the 'magic' of the holiday always touches me.

Then it is over to my sons and my other grandchildrens for a dinner where we all bring things , I will spend the night and Christmas day my brother and three nephews will be there for a nice dinner.The next day it is back to work. Since his backyard is in Yakima, WA I think I will pass up this opportunity (approx 8-10 inches of snow). Seriously, I am going to church tonight with my daughter and her family, then back to her house for dinner with the rest of the family that can make it. I'll be with my son's family the day after Christmas. It is impossible to get everyone in the same place at the same time with my crowd. I have her and her son's presents with me and I will put them under the tree in the morning while they are still asleep, and then I will go to work on the shed and wait for them to wake up.
