| I believe men and women do fall in love, but we just sometimes don't know what love is-or confuse it for being smitten, or horny, or just desperate for someone and hope it works out. That probably explains our high divorce rate.

| well if its possible... yes some men do but those of us who do usally get screwed around just like anyone else. some guys feel the same way, but why be so close minded about it thats where the problem is ??? life is all about chances whether it turns out to the positive or to the negative. most people are so reserved they never give love a fair shot of developing into somthing even greater!! Marriage yes it's just a 8 letter word or a bunch of letters, but to me it's just depends on with whom your sharing it with. so try thinking positive you just might be suprised at what can happen... | didn't realize I was opening a can of worms here. Great advice from both guys and gals.Some of it makes a lot of sense, some of you have been honest enough to write from the heart. I appreciate that. Story goes this way. Last relationship lasted three years. He knew all the right words and used them all at the right times....you know the ones I mean....LTR, soulmates, forever..wants me rather than needs me etc,etc. AND... used them without any prompting from me. Actually, I was the skeptical one. Over three years he convinced me he was for real and then came the real truth. He was still sleeping with his ex when I was not around. When caught, said it was "nothing". How's that for lust vs love.
Anyway, I hope that there are guys who are really capable of loving out there. And photo... it's not always the woman's fault when the guys don't love her... grow up! I will keep hoping otherwise what's the point in going through all the trauma. Might as well buy a toy or two.

| you know Carrie , I would like maybe some tips from men on maybe how to make them fall in love with you! I was married 18 yrs and never really knew real love, I didn't realize that until I got a divorce and meet someone new. But he is scared or he says he is, never married no children. I was just wondering do you think a person that is 39 can fall in love with a mother of two almost grown children? I just can't make myself believe it was just lust....  Tina

| I think it all has something to do with our motherly instinct.We carry the baby in our bodies for 9 months,and know we really love this little precious baby. And I also believe it has a lot to do with the way we raise our boys---if they see love in the home by mom and dad-------and if they felt loved in their youth. I really don't believe men have the capacity to feel as deeply as we do. Yes, I've been hurt too many times-----but still hoping the right caring guy is out there.-----yes.I'm a believer---go guys--go:: hugs to all whether you love deeply or not---lmao---lotsafuninpa.

| Besides what I wrote before the real deal is this...Men and Women's idea of love is different. I'm not saying that all women have the same Idea of what love is but each and everyone of us have a different idea of what love is. Usually we do not express it to oneanother we just try to mentally satify our partners about what they want to hear. Really kind of sad but usually it's true. It all starts with the communication thing....

| that's just the thing Tina, I was married for 23yrs as well. and for all that time I dont think he ever understood me. It was like we were from two different planets. He felt that the bedroom held the answer to all our differences. Not so me. I wanted so much more. eventually, I just gave up and stayed for my kids. When they grew up I moved on. And yes, I do believe that at some time a guy will come along who is on the same path that I am. You just have to keep hoping. I refuse to give up. Hang in there, Anything good is worth waiting for. And w2hen you find him it wont matter how old you are or how many kids you have. Keep the faith.
