| If you are ready to move on; do so. Feeling guilty is wrong. You didn't cause the accident. Move on man!

| I am new here so correct me if I am wrong? I think this subject is in the wrong zip code. But since you asked I will make a comment.
If your feelings are on the runway? Then pack you emotions in your traveling bags and catch the first flight out!!!
I lost my mom just 8 months ago. She wasn't just a mom but my very best friend ever. My family lives over an hour from where I live. So on the weekends I go to assist my father in how to clean, pay bills, wash clothes, etc. He is a total wreck and I find myself lost at times too. My parents were married for 38 years. They displayed what true love is all about.
But this is what happened........
Only just this past weekend I was doing things in his home before he got home from work. Well the phone was ringing and I picked up. This lady on the other end asked me how was I doing? (thinking that I was my father) Her voice was of a tone that I would describe as "sugar sweet" and it was.....yes, a bit "above" friendly. I cant find the correct verbs to describe how that made me feel. So I never said a word to her but only hung up. Later that evening I confronted my father of this lady calling. He began crying saying that he was feeling so much guilt. He read me well and knew that I didn't like it. But I have not the right to judge him so I put on a mask and pretended that all was well. But deep inside I thought it was disrespectful to say the least. BUT on the other hand, what is too long and not too long before moving on? I personally believe that its based on an individual basis. And what others think shouldn't even come into play.
To not pursue someone that you possibly care about? Well..... Your only cheating the other party to include yourself. So let the guilt go if you can and live a great life with this person.
...my 2 cents worth
