I would not travel hundreds of miles thinking only a cup of coffee was possible, but then I would have to go in with a very open mind and discuss expectations up front too. If I were going to drive more than a couple of hours I would want to already know her well enough that I would be open to staying a couple of days/weekend. Too much time just traveling would have me too tired to really be good company without some rest.

What do they do CAR POOL to work every morning??? GET REAL!!! I tell them I am not willing to relocate out side of AL with the exception of living in Boise, ID near my son. Then they tell me "Well, Momma and my brothers and sisters will be living with us." Makes ya wonder if they have read "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck cause there must be a mouse in their pocket!!!

Randy, What you say has been my experience in couple of instances...As a "second party" in a family of Ham Radio operators, I had the chance to talk and meet people from different places. I came into this wide open and will not limit myself when it comes to finding the one I can be happy with. She's gonna be rare for sure because I am one of those who does not do heated arguments or listen to any b*tching... I just don't do that. Kinda hard to find one who can just sit and calmly talk about disagreements or other problems without it becoming a heated argument. So, I just about have to search the world over to find one I can communicate with on my level.
