| I was at South Padre Island 30 years ago, I've been planning on another trip that way some winter... to see all of the migrating birds that winter down that way. One of these years....

| justdancin from what I can see its not very expensive 40$ rooms at motel six and places like that! if yur like me you dont need fancy! It would be fun to meet people from here if Im working down there! at least its a nice vacation destination.

| It's a great destination... in my case, it's more of a time factor. I teach school, so my excursions depend upon holidays, plus I go back to ND in the summers to see my family there.

| South Padre is a beautiful beach & much cleaner than Galveston. Kinda crowded when the Winter Texans are there, but great. My favorite beach by far.
