| "The Outlaw Josie Wales." clint one the oscar for "Unforgiven" but Wales was an better all around epic western.
Saving Private Ryan was a great flick too.
I don't know about the Passion though. It was well done and everything, I just can't get down with the subtitles.

| The good news is I don't see one BAD movie posted yet
"Greatest of all time" is a difficult subject for me
I've enjoyed, to no end, movies like "Caddyshack", "The Big Lewbowski", "Stripes", "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", "Saving Private Ryan", anything by Kevin Smith, "Super Troopers", "Snatch", "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrells", "...Steve Zissou", "South Park...", "Goldfinger", "Trainspotting", "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", any "Naked Gun", "The Breakfast Club", and any DeNiro/Pesci/Pacino classics...plus a countless number of others that I don't recall at this time
There is no favorite to be chosen, especially without a genre specified
If you talk favorite movies, it HAS to be limited to a genre....there's no other way to do it
Off the top of my head though, "Saving Private Ryan" has to be one of the best...a movie that captured every emotion of my soul
Except that damn Oppum....what a dueche

Python films are very funny. "Brian" is indeed the funniest. "Romani Ite Domum!"
Terry Gilliam's "Brazil" is my favorite film by a mile, and if there was a vote, it would get mine.
I know, I know. "Citizen Kane" ... yada, yada, yada!
Can we officially agree that Kane is the Greatest Classic Film of all time and forget about it?
I'm also very high on "Lawrence of Arabia."
"Star Wars" was and is a modern classic. "Raiders of The Lost Ark" is another.
But again, there is no answer to this question. It's like asking:
"What is the tastiest flavor of ice cream ever?"

| I used to play groundhog day when I went to bed night after night. It was pretty odd because it was almost like the movie in that i kept repeating the same thing, but I was not even intentionally doing it "to" mimick that. For some reason it made me get to sleep easier. And yes I loved the movie, so it wasn't that I thought it was boring. lol I think it was nice and quiet during a lot of it and plus I just didn't get tired of it.
Another movie I would have on when I went to bed quite often was planes, trains, and automobiles.
Anyway so I will just mention that I also like donnie darko, all back to the futures, all star wars, liar liar, the goonies, most cheech & chong movies, jumanji, contact, office space, the naked gun movies, who's harry crumb?, gremlins, etc...
So whoever said no abd movies have been mentioned, maybe one of those would qualify? lol I like them all though.

| Empire Strikes Back gets my vote.
Perfect movie. I can watch that movie 10 million times in a row and never get tired of it.
Even though I have seen it over and over and over again, and I know exactly what is going to happen in it, and I can quote most of the movie, yet everytime I watch that movie it always feels like the first time of seeing it.
Hollywood DOES NOT make movies like that anymore.
