I think that women tend to go for the "walmart cowboy" more often than true cowboys as myself. I have to wonder if it's more of a fantasy for a woman to want to be with a cowboy but don't realize that the real ones are the same dy in and day out, not just on the weekend.
I get tired of those straw hats that meke it look as though a person has been thrue something ruff and tough like bull riding. i competed as a professional bull rider and know the difference. In fact, i wrote a song about this subject that has had radio play and nashville attention. You can find it at my musicians [blocked site] site at HTTP://WWW.[blocked site].COM/LITTLECOWBOY
I'm just curious as to what you women have to say about this subject.

i'm one of those half cowgirls/half city girls, i love to get out to the country and jsut spend the day there, and be myself around horses and cats and dogs and other barn animals, i love cowboys too, i think i true bowcoyi s better than a poser cowboy because real cowboys aren't afriad to get down int he dirt, like me, i like my hands dirty, literally not figuratively.... in short, COWBOYS RULE!!!! *WOOT*

I really like you song...I have several friends and a stepson that are into the bull riding. One good friend got messed up really bad a few months ago and has to give it up. Even nearly being killed he still wants to do one more time...

waving at me.born i am a cowboy in my soul.Broc-busting and
steer rider is in my blood. like my father and his father and back i grew
to were i seat on this wild eyed heart pumping beast i so love and fear
To win the grand prize a shiney buckle and few kisses to.Stake my name in this

I lived with a cowboy for 6 years and he was the "real deal". Born and raised in Arizona. He has grown up and been in the cattle business all his life. But you would'n know by looking at him. I usto call him my Cowboy on a Harley Davidson. I would say he looked more like a hippie to the general public. Not even a biker type even though he rode all his life too. So the moral of the story?? you know!! "Dont judge a book by its cover"

Guess I spotted a real one yesterday LOL. Was takeing my car into the shop and hears this cowboy in front of me droping off his newer Ford 350 it must have ben an emergentcy as he had on the hole out fit boots big spurs chaps vest and hat just off the range from branding!!...smiles. Them spurs most be hard on the carpet in the truck? and the Chaps would be handy for spilled coffee.

There is a big difference between the Real Cowboys and the ones who just put the outfit on to look good in a pair of Wranglers, I think the real ones are very sexy, and i have a high appreciation for what they do, the country, the farm what an amazing place!!!

Oh this dude was out of the range allright as that is all we have hear!! but the true ones don't do that just the showoffs that inherited gramps money. in 15 years he will be driveing the same truck and the outfit will be gone.
