| The problem i need help with is is my cyberhome dvr 1600 dvd recorder i cant get it to read any disc it just keeps saying no disc i have tried using a dry q tip to clean it, ive tried using a dvd disc cleaner still doesnt work can anyone help me with my problem. i am also looking for a owners manuel for my dvd recorder but i cant find one any suggestions. any help appreciated   thanks

| hmmmm, i've never dated a cyberhome dvr 1600 dvd recorder, but from the , "no disc" response , i have heard that before...i think you need a geekotech.....at the prices of repairs a new recorder may be cheaper...are you out of warrenty time?

| Will it play any of your DVD's?
If you are trying to play DVD's that you have burned on you computer, sometimes they won't work with other DVD players, and you will get the "NO DISC" error..

I'm not gifted with the ability to diagnose the technical problems but thought I could at least suggest that you Google the brand name or manufacturer's name and model number for your DVD recorder. Perhaps you can download the Owner's manual there, or better yet, save it to your hard drive and access it electronically anytime you like.
