| One month and a day ago We lost an Aunt of my Mom's side of the family. We knew She was dying of Breast/Overian Cancer. Today, I get a call...My Father's baby Sister died...Does this come in 3's? How, Much more can I take with the Holiday's fast approaching I find myself very depressed and Sad...Grrrr!! If you can think of a swift kick in the Ass to help me get over this...I'd greatly Appriciate it.

| no swift kick in the ass...I only give hugs and the occasional tushy rub..
There are no easy answers..but what has carried me since the day my mom died , 3 weeks after i turned 18 is ..God has a plan for all of us and I don't think he gives us more than we can handle.. I may doubt the latter at times..or doubt the timing..but just by taking baby steps..one foot infront of the other..I(we, you ) can get thru just about anything .

Never really chatted with you before but I wish you all the best, just take it one day at a time.
My dad passed away August 29 of this year, 10 days after his 72nd birthday. My birthday is today and all I can think of is in one more year I will be half the age my father was when he died, really makes you take a hard look at your life and where its going.
Not sure if this will help or not, if you get too depressed at least these forums should help to add some comic relief. Just hang in there and keep your chin up.

| Sorry for your loss Peachess. I know how you feel. Two weeks ago my favorite uncle passed. When we got back to thier house from the funeral, his wife, my aunt I loved like a second Mother, just waived goodbye to everyone and passed away. I do believe they do go in three's. I just wonder who the third is in my family. My cat of 19 years passed two days after my aunt, but I don't think he would have been the third.
There is no easy solution to grief. GOd knows I wish there was. Only time heals those wounds. I just try to keep telling myself they are in a better place and we are the ones stuck on this messed up world. My prayers are with you.

| Oh, Peachess...I am soo sorry for your losses...
Unfortunatelly, things came in 3s for my family. Summer of 2000. in less than two months my two uncles and my grandma passed...I honestly don't know how we all made it...but we did...You can only do it one day at a time...
You are in my thoughts...Hugs...

| Just enjoy your family and friends that are still with you and around you and be thankful for that. It's hard to deal with loss but also the people who passed would want you to be happy and smile. Hang in there girl.

| aw damn peaches,im sorry-i went thru that when my mom died 9 yrs.ago-i never went to a funeral before hers-never had to-no one died-that was hard enough to deal with,still am some days-but after she died-within 2 yrs-i went to 14 funerals-i just couldnt go to any more-i was so greifed out-i lived out of a bottle of gin and a bag of weed-i finally got counseling-it was hard-and if it gets to be to much-let it go-or get some help-it will swallow you whole...if you need to talk-holler-again my sympathies to you and your family-best to you...hugs,kathy

| Im so sorry to hear this peaches!!
I went thru a simular experence two weks ago!
I lost a good friend to a freak accident...he fell out of his pickup while his wife was driving it 80 miles an hour...I saw him only two hours before it happend!!!

| Peachy, My heart goes out to you lady. I know it gets ruff when we have to deal with a loss. You know I believe myself like wonder was saying we just dont know the bigger picture. We all have to realize that this life stuff isnt about us.I just lost my stepmom last April and there's not one day that goes by that I dont think aout her.I understand also all the different feelings that one has when that person leaves you.I felt mad ,sad, surprised and just depressed.It was hard for me especially because I never had someone leave me so fast.She had gone within a snap of the fingers. Well here come the holidays and I have to deal with one less person in the family,so for here on out the holidays will never be the same.Life goes on and we have good friends to always get us through.So I just want to say to u and all my friends Happy Holidays and God Bless you all!!!!
