funny. you had to do this during Smallville?
Does anyone remember Dr. Atkins? He was a medical doctor. This means that he went to medical school, and got the degree to become a doctor. He also got a license to pratice medicine.
Dr. Atkins used medicine to diagnose his patients, just as all medical doctors do. However, once he had diagnosed his patients, he used nutrition and vitimin therapy to help his patients heal. He would precribe vitimins and diets to help his patients, instead of medicine.
The best of both worlds.
First of all, this passage talks about the Law. The Law was never given to the Nations. The Law was givien to Israel. And the Law was given to Israel after the Promise was given.
Roma 2:14 (CLV) For whenever they of the nations that have no law, by nature may be doing that which the law demands, these, having no law, are a law to themselves,
So, is this what Christianity is doing? Becoming a Law unto themselves?
It is the Law that gives us a recognition of sin...
Roma 3:20 (CLV) because, by works of law, no flesh at all shall be justified in His sight, for through law is the recognition of sin.
So, by the Law we are able to know what sin is. Just as, by medicine, Dr. Atkins knows how to diagnose a disease.
Israel was in transgression. The Law was given to involve Israel until the Seed arrived, to Who the promises were made.
Gala 3:19 (CLV) What, then, is the law? On behalf of transgressions was it added, until the Seed should come to Whom He has promised, being prescribed through messengers in the hand of a mediator.
He redeems them from the Law, and gives them the place of Sons.
Gala 4:5 (CLV) that He should be reclaiming those under law, that we may be getting the place of a son.
This probably won't make any sense unless you know what the position of a Son is. This will take some studying in the OT to understand. And then, how it realtes to the NT.
But, OK.
Christ Jesus is the Consumation (the finishing) of the Law to everyone who believes...
Roma 10:4 (CLV) For Christ is the consummation of law for righteousness to everyone who is believing.
Jesus is the Finisher. He is called the Origin and the Consumation, the First and the Last.
Against the Believer, there is no Law...
Gala 5:22 (CLV) Now the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23. meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law.
For we are not under the Law, but we are under Grace...
Roma 6:14 (CLV) For Sin shall not be lording it over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.
And so, as Dr. Atkins might precribe nutrition and vitimins to heal his patients, we must learn how to use Grace to deal with sin.
So, to understand all of this, we need to understand what the Consumation is, what the place of a Son is (not only in the OT, but also how it relates to the NT), the distinction between Israel and the Nations in the present and future dispensations, and how to deal with sin under Grace.
1. Have a pattern of Sound Words
2. Distinguish the things that Differ
3. Rightely Divide the Word of Truth
I hope that I have caused more questions than answers.

This is your government and judicial system hard at work. Crooks, thieves and liars who are raping and pillaging everyone under their lawless illegal system, that has adopted the mafias tactics and made them legal, dressed themselves in uniforms wearing lots of metal and speak to you with authority and treat you in a condescending nature to scare and intimidate the holy crap out of everyone using threat, duress and cohersion, to subjugate you into being an indentured slave for the rest of your lonely days.
Sound teaching? Not in your lifetime, you are a slave thinker stuck in the consensus trance walking around as a happy depressive with grave psychological problems.
Happy God? he's pissed at your smart a** behavior

| What a difference a little accuracy can bring...
Titu 1:7 (CLV) for the supervisor must be unimpeachable as an administrator of God, not given to self-gratification, not irritable, no toper, not quarrelsome, not avaricious;
For 'supervisor' the King James version uses the term 'bishop.'
Elder is a term to recognize age and dignity.
It seems old dugy here does not recognize his elders.
Titus 1:8 (CLV) but hospitable, fond of that which is good, sane, just, benign, self-controlled;
the King James version is calling sane as being 'sober minded.' Just a little manipulation going on here. The suggestion here is, not to drink alchohol. Although that may be good advise, it is not what the Scriptures say.
Check out Philippians 4:8
Benign is not holy. Benign is a Hebrew concept that combines thoughts of mercy, kindness, and plenty. Holy means set apart. Looks like King James falls short again
9 upholding the faithful word according to the teaching, that he may be able to entreat with sound teaching as well as to expose those who contradict. 10 For many are insubordinate, vain praters and imposters, especially those of the Circumcision,
Those of the Circumcision are Jews.
