New feature: You can now change your settings so that you will always see profiles with the basic default DH color scheme, even if the user changed their background and colors. It also hides any HTML, music players, youtube videos, guestbooks, and any other objects from their profile description.
This is for people who don't like looking at profiles with custom colors or get tired of having music start playing when they view a profile. At the top of every profile that has a custom design, there will be a "Hide Custom Colors" link, if you click it it will show the profile as it would look if there was no custom design. It also changes your settings so all other profiles you view will show without the custom design. You can also change this setting any time in account options.
Most people won't use this feature, it's mainly for those who have trouble reading profiles when they have custom colors, don't like music loading, or their computer is slow and flash objects cause profiles to load slowly for them.

| since i am one of those who suggested it i will use it. the only reason i did mention it is some backrounds make it hard for me to read the type, love the backdrops but want to be able to read profile.. thanks bunches for the option.....

| Great idea, Dustin. I won't use it because I like to see how creative people are or in some cases, aren't...lol. But I do agree it is great for those people who don't want to see the various colors. Now if you can just do something about the volume on the music for us....

| i have found a few profiles i could not read so it would be a good choice for us with vision challenge. most men take the dh option for the profilesanyway. i really enjoy the talents some have with the profiles here. i also get sick of my own music tunnel vision so i can pop out a player so that is great for me

| I do lots of quick peeks to profiles like when somebody changesto a new picture or someone makes a post maybe not famaliar with them...
When I go to the profile I am looking at the content of the person not the ceativity the person has...If I want art I go to photo bucket.....JMO....

| I'll use it when I can't read the data and I also appreciate being able to turn off the music that starts automatically - I enjoy the music, but only when I am able to choose which song and when to listen - I hate it when it starts playing as soon as you look at a profile.

| I'll probably get another time-out for this but...
There are many things that could be changed about this site that would make it more enjoyable... many things more important than color schemes IMO. It just amazes me that some really good suggestions don't even get addressed, and then something like "hey, you can now turn off music on profiles" gets added.
It's like slicing your wrist and then putting a bandaid on it.
Most people won't use this feature ..........

I enjoy listening to their music or at least seeing if I enjoy their kind of music.
There are some profiles with difficult to read profiles because of the background. I usually e-mail them and tell them. I would love to know what you said but I can't read the navy ink on the black background, or whatever.
I won't use this feature.
