littlelamb36 Council Bluffs, IA age: 37	I have found that too many people are trapped in there past and what happened to them in past relationship. People lie about who they are and what they want. They claim they want to have a serious relationship, yet the minute you give them the time of day they disappear. I dont get it maybe its a midwest thing becaus this type of thing never went on back home in Boston. If you like someone you like them you go on a few dates if your compatible you stay together and are committed to the relationship, yet out here people are all looking to just get laid, use other people, and boost there egos its kind of sick. So tell me what you do or how you figure out the real deal from the liars, and manipulators?

georgiamanincal Huntington Beach, CA age: 26	Wait, have a little faith. You can't know someone until they show you who they are. It is shitty, and tough, so expect bumps and bruises. People are complex, and sometimes they pull away because they don't want to get you mired in their drama. I wish people would be more committed, but that's not what we're being taught or shown on tv, and the American Parent(evening sitcoms) just feed on our hormones, encouraging us to give in to mating instinct. It is sick, no responsibility anymore. People like us who just want one person and then stick with them will find each other eventually, just got to pay attention to the mistakes so we don't keep repeating them.
