| So, folks....who here let go of someone they want back...a decision they regret? Who here is the person who was let go....that someone wants back?
Is it true? "You don't know what you got, til it's gone?"

| Very true but I can't think of a regret. I believe some things happen for a reason. I scratch my head on somethings but other things I hope I learn and grow from it.

| sure it can be true. i've been let go and thought to myself, boy did i take her for granted. beat myself up for a long time on how i could have done things different. in the end i had to just make sure i learned from my mistake, and try not to let it happen again.

| I have been the one let go of my last three relationship all by women with different reasons to do so. I think in all three cases there was was a certain point early on in there where I wanted them all back. I think that is pretty natural to feel that way when your committed and care about people. Life is about choices though and I have come to realize it was their choice to move on and I accepted things pretty quickly allowing myself to move forward in a healthy manner. I know I'm special person, did right by them, and have simply chosen to trust in the fact that these women are in a different place in life and that God must have something even better out there for me.

| You're right Falcon... I've known others that have went back or taken them back and it never worked out the second time...I think if it ends, it ends for a reason...and prefer to look at it like when one door closes another one opens. Helps the healing process too...JMO

| I have no regrets and don't wish for an old love to come back. We go thru what we are meant to so, we can learn, grow and someday find the "Ulitmate" love. jmo

| My wife of 32 years called me about a year ago after being apart 12 years and wanted to talk about us getting back together. She said she wished she hadn't done the things she did and wished we were still together, I told her to wish in one hand and shit in the other , and see witch fills the fastest. Won't ride that horse again.

| If it's gone, you ain't got it. I know what I have when I have it and I know what I don't have when i don't have it. Don't fall for the good old days syndrome. Now will be the good old days, tomorrow.

| I believe there have been times that I didn't know what I had until I lost it. Sometimes those things have been good and I missed them, but there are others that I thank goodness I didn't know about them until I was out. Sometimes you wish you had realized what you had while you had it, just because you would have left sooner.JMO

| honestly the only serious relationship I have been in was my ex and I made him toleave.....but I can see in some instances because the ex told me its true. I dont know, the only people that I have missed in my life are old friends and a few family members and wish I had back.

| Sometimes it is true... kinda more like you knew it but it really stood out when someone turned the light on.... When you realize you're all alone then you have a tendency to remember the good and everything you saw in your partner and minimize the bad because you're now in a state of separation anxiety and loneliness. Believe me, the good is still there but so is the bad. Big question is...could you handle the bad if he did come back? You had a reason when you booted him out...is the reason still there?
