| no, the dating sites are not working for me. How do you keep your self-esteem intact when you keep getting told that they did not feel a 'connection' or 'chemistry' when you met.
Today I drove to a mall about 40 min away to meet a guy. I called when I got there & told him what entrance I was at. A few min later a guy dressed all in black like he said he was walked right past me while he on the phone & walked out the door. I thought it was him but wasn't sure since I've only seen one picture & he kinda flew by. So I waited a few more min & then called & got his voice mail & asked him if he got lost. He called back & said his son had called saying his car broke down & was stranded so he had to go. Said he did not walk past me. A little while after I got home got an email saying he really did get the phone call from his son, thinks he saw someone that looked like me as he was leaving, & it's probably not going to work. sorry.
Apparently he didn't like what he saw. how do you deal with all the rejection?
This world is filled with insensitive, inconsiderate, judgemental and heartless people...online...and in the "real" world. Some people assume that they can judge another by appearance or by something they have typed on a website...yet...unless and until a person....chooses to look at an individual as a person with a heart and soul...they may be missing out on an experience of a lifetime~ a lifetime friend~ or possibly the one person that was put on this earth for THEM...
This man should have sat down with you over a cup of coffee and if at the end of the meeting ....maybe you would have realized he was not the one...or vice a versa ...but...he did not give you that opportunity...and he may have missed out on the things I mentioned above.
It is easy to say...don't let his behaviour cause you to feel less of yourself. You have qualities/talents/things about you that NOONE has to offer another person...and I can tell you ....there is a man out there that is desiring and needing YOU in his life...
