| Most of us watched a child star grow up. The personal accusations of his life were never proved in court, money drives people do to do strange things in life.
The MJ I saw on television was talented. He studied the great Fred Astaire and the fast action of James Brown. No one can match the choreographed dancing and moves he commanded on the stage as an entertainer. Michal perfected the Moon Walk, anti gravity and the 45 degree angle that no one can match.

| Strange I never watched or listened to MJ's music. So he's dead? And at 50? It isn't surprising. I doubt that he ever lived a healthy lifestyle and emotionally he had to be a mess with all of his financial and legal problems. Also I wouldn't wish that family of his on my worst enemy.
This seems to be the year when a lot of celebrities are passing away. The latest one is Billy Mays.

 A tad bit off the topic, but within relativity. How many actors/actresses over the years have died-drugs/committed suicide only to reaffirm the "I'm not surprised card" to the general public.
Hurray for Hollywood ?

I do, foolish specimen. Everyone looked past that by listening to his awsome music. And he was a great man, idol, and inspriation to the world. So just all those things I said alone was enough to allow people to see through his dirty ways and recognize the good in him while he was still on this earth. Agh! The ignorance in these humans these days...

| MJ the the greatest he made amazing music, videos and changed the world as we know it.
There will never be anyone even close to his lvl of talent, it's to bad he never really had a childhood bc he was alway's performing or practicing dance moves or singing, but he has touched the life of millions if not billions of people.

| The worst things about celebrities passing away is all the time and newsprint they hog up on radio & TV.
I think there is something very wrong with our culture when people are so devastated by the passing of some singer. To be so emotionally wrapped up in the life of a person they don't know or have even said a word to says to me they don't have a life of their own.
For me, MJ's singing was like a bunch of mice squeaking away in a tin barrel. And all of his so called dance steps seemed an example of perverted exhibitionism. Are these the kind of people you want your children to think of as examples of decent behavior?
God there is one thing I really hate and that's women who sing and think they can sing. My ex-wife used to sing, and she sounded like a screeching Barbara Striesan or that Celine Delong (sp?). I was always so embarrassed whenever we went any place and she had the notion to sing.

| If MJ was so guilty of molesting that boy....why did they not go to court to prove it & put him away instead of taking the money? I know if it was my kid...no amount of money could keep me from going to court & putting the child molester away so he could never do it again. All the parents were out for was the money. Cased closed.

You have the habit of painting things very black or white. We the public are never going to know the details of that negotiation. We'll never know MJ's relationships with children either. However, we'll have our suspicions.
The thing is that he lived an odd life style and was involved with children to a degree very unusual for an adult male. He also acted very childlike himself. Most adults are pretty tired of kids after having raised some. They don't seek them out for companionship but rather other adults.
Yeah the case is closed but only because he's dead. What's left is all the wrangling over his money. I hope he disposed of his estate properly, so we don't have to listen to all that garbage on TV.

| The sad part of all this with MJ's death is the media saying things that have'nt been proved yet or the now who gets MJ's kids. The kids have lost their dad enough is enough with hear say. Let the man rest in peace. Sorry Eric but come Tuesday MJ's memorial service is going to be on tv.
